Hello music teachers!
Henderson Academy of Music, a music school offering private in-home music lessons through the Greater Seattle Area, is hiring new teachers.
As a Henderson Academy of Music private instructor, you will be teaching private lessons on your chosen instrument(s) in students' homes.
Reliable transportation is required. Prior teaching experience is preferred, but not necessary. Most of our students are children, so patience and a positive attitude are a must-have.
This is a part-time independent contractor position. You will set your own hours and service area for in-home lessons. We are currently hiring teachers for all major instruments, including piano, guitar, drums, voice/singing, violin, cello, bass, trumpet, saxophone, and more.
We get a lot of beginning piano students (kids age 6-12), so if you can teach beginning piano in addition to another instrument that's great.
We serve the entire greater Seattle area, however, you will only be required to travel to homes within your chosen service area.
