Looking to move out of the hustle and bustle of a big city? Established (since 1978) architectural firm located in Wenatchee, WA is looking for a full-time architect, licensed in the State of Washington. This is not a remote position. We are looking for an individual that could possibly transition into an ownership position in the near future.
Our firm works primarily with public clients, but also works in the private sector as well. The applicant should be capable of preparing precise working drawings and specifications suitable for public bid and also be capable of abbreviating the process where necessary for private projects. It is strongly encouraged that candidates have experience in K-12 projects and OSPI. We are looking for a focus on marketing and production.
Prerequisite Skills:
AutoCAD
Word and Excel
Knowledge of planning/design standards and construction technology
Commitment to the Firm's procedures and standards
Ability to communicate with clients, peers, consultants, and contractors
Understanding of legal principals
Working familiarity with codes
Expertise with architectural detailing
Ability to efficiently prepare cost estimates
