McInnis Engineering has an immediate opening for a civil engineering technician in our Tacoma office. We are a growing group of engineers and surveyors doing quality design work in Western Washington. We are a team of engineers and surveyors based in Tacoma and doing quality, community-based engineering work in Western Washington. We approach engineering a little differently than other firms because we see the role of civil engineer becoming the role of project leader and overall manager due to the complicated nature of civil engineering. We are no longer supporting members, we are project leaders.
We are seeking a civil engineering technician to work on private design projects in King, Pierce, and Thurston County. Successful candidate will be experienced in the compilation of plan sets for civil engineering projects in retail, commercial, and residential projects, will understand grading, drainage, and utility design, and will be experienced in the use of Civil 3D and BlueBeam. Report writing experience and knowledge of the permit processes in Tacoma, Pierce County, and surrounding jurisdictions a plus.

Pay:
