Built Square, an established Ballard-based remodeling company is seeking an interior designer for large and small-scale residential remodeling work in the Seattle area. This is a full time position. In-house and remote work is possible.

We are seeking experienced, energetic, and detailed persons to join our team, residential experience is expected.
Responsibilities include:
Remodel design - From as-built measure and conceptual design to permits and construction documents. You will be working with clients, trade contractors and our in-house carpenters to design high end residential remodels.
Construction support - You will be involved in your projects throughout the construction processseeing the details through to the end.
Ideal candidate's qualifications include:
HS Diploma, design credentials or certifications and 2+ years' experience designing kitchens, baths, and other residential spaces or a design degree
Proficiency with drafting software. More specifically in Sketchup. Experience with enscape and interior renders a plus.
Have the ability to work independently and to hold yourself accountable for organization, results, and performance
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to guide clients through the design process with their budget in mind
Able to see the “big picture” of how the whole process flows. From first contact to site visits, invoice coding and billing, it all has to work efficiently.
