Immediate opening for a full-time Robotics Engineer-Technician to assist in the growth of our Company.

We are a well-established, small company (30+ years in business) with a solid backlog providing Electronic Component Testing and other Electronic Value-Added Services to high caliber customers in the Space, Defense, Medical, and Commercial Electronic Industries. We are searching for that special talent in Electronic Components.

Qualifications:

 The successful candidate shall understand the basics of mechanical engineering.

 Apply robotic theory to design, procure, assemble, and develop a robotic system to test and perform operation on small electronic components.

Design automated systems from the ground up and build in efficiency, reliability and possibly marketability. Provide technical assistance and resolution when engineering problems are encountered.

 Be able to estimate and prepare project costs and budgets.

 Design and write code for controllers. The ability to program for GUI’s is a major plus.

 Demonstrated understanding of robotic technology and current standards, software, fixturing, tools, etc. in order to design and build efficient systems.

 Proficiency with common test equipment, works well in lab environment.

 Set up and operate the test equipment and record results.

 Collaborate with management, electrical engineers, operators, and other personnel to identify, define, and solve problems.

 Plan, schedule and monitor work of support personnel to assist supervisor.

Essential Skills:

 Must be clean and organized.

 This position has a level of skill commensurate with a degree in Engineering at minimum, associates, 4-year degree a plus, experience and great references.

 Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and PC skills as required.

 Strong written/oral communication, problem solving, good judgement, presentation, and decision-making skills a plus.

 Able to work independently with little supervision.

THIS POSITION IS FOR FULL-TIME DAY SHIFT HOURS FROM 7:00AM – 4:30PM Monday thru Friday.
