What we are looking for:

We are currently seeking a Senior Engineer to join our team as a leader/mentor of our professional engineering and design division. Engineers at Evergreen are a tight knit group that work together to design commercial HVAC projects using design tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam. Our goal is to design high quality HVAC systems that exceed our clients’ expectations.

Skills Sought:

Department, Team, and Project Management

Manages project engineering staff.

Coordinate with internal design team

Coordinate with construction teams.

Meet project deadlines

Supervises, train, and mentor young engineers.

Provides engineering analysis to support sales in early design efforts.

Identifies and responds to changes in scope, schedule, and budget.

Prepares, negotiates, and manages design budgets.

Coordinates with construction and estimating teams to reduce project costs.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Design

Demonstrate mastery and able to fully lead a team in delivering mechanical systems design, including

calculations, airside systems, piping systems, equipment selection and multi-discipline coordination.

Overall responsible for delivering designs to customers by reviewing and providing feedback on engineering

calculations and design drawings for design intent, quality, precision, constructability, and construction costs.

Present options and facilitate decisions for design selection, energy use, and cost savings strategies.

Apply knowledge of Building and Energy Code in design

Customer Services and Relations

Represents Evergreen and develops new opportunities.

Demonstrate leadership in industry and/or AHJ.

Develops and maintains relationships with customers, owners, installers, vendors, and AHJ.

The right candidate will have:

P.E. registration is wanted, but not required

Ten (10) years of experience in mechanical design / engineering field

Experience with AutoCAD and Revit required.

Experience with building energy modeling

Experience with building and energy codes

Desire to mentor and train young engineers
