Description We are in the process of recruiting an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our nonprofit client in Seattle, WA for a short-term project. You will be tasked with managing a high volume of accounts payable tasks, handling approvals in MIP software, and ensuring all account coding is completed accurately by employees. The role offers a flexible 40-hour schedule and a mostly remote schedule. A candidate will only be required to go onsite once per week for check runs. Responsibilities include: Oversee and manage a large volume of accounts payable tasks efficiently. Handle and oversee the approvals in MIP software. Ensure employees complete their own account coding accurately. Monitor and maintain the accounts payable inbox. Utilize accounting software systems to maintain accurate records. Handle various accounting functions to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. Manage accrual accounting tasks as per the industry standards. Conduct auditing tasks to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
