Some of what you'll be doing:As the AOB Facilities & Mail Specialist, you will provide facilities support for the Airport Office Building and serve as the driver for mail services.
You will monitor hot desks to ensure equipment is functioning and present and cubicles are cleaned.
You will be responsible for the daily opening/closing AOB Wellness rooms and ensure they are maintained and cleaned.
You will respond and troubleshoot various facilities requests and issues and arrange for vendor support if needed.
You will assist with facility inventory management in storage rooms, including ordering and tracking supplies, equipment, and consumables.
You will drive to deliver mail and packages around the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and to all Port of Seattle off-airport locations.
You will delivery outgoing mail to the United States Post Office at the end of the day.
You will maintain the mail vehicle which includes vacuuming the carpets, car wash, and wiping the interior, and ensuring any preventive maintenance or problems are reported.
You will provide backup mail services support for sorting and internal deliveries.

What else you need to know:
Work Schedule – Your normal work schedule will be Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week). You may be required to work any and all assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays. You may be required to work during emergencies.
Work Environment – You will primarily work in an office environment.
Washington State Residency Requirement – Employees must establish a residence in Washington state within 30 days of their first day of employment and must maintain a residence in Washington State during their employment with the Port of Seattle. If a position is eligible to telework, work performed while teleworking must be performed in Washington State.
Security Requirements – As the successful candidate, you will/must pass a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) background check as well as a criminal history background check with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Your employment will be contingent upon obtaining a Port of Seattle ID badge upon clearance. You will also be required to obtain a U.S. Customs and Border Patrol Customs Seal within 30 days of hire.
