Work is performed 7 days a week with general independence and decision-making responsibility under the general guidance of the attending physicians, chief resident and department Nurse Manager. Guidelines include general policy procedures and practice guidelines established by the department and Harborview Medical Center, as well as appropriate professional and technical manuals.A higher degree of healthcare. Masters or Doctorate Degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing
AND Washington State Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License with prescriptive privileges
AND National certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
Physician Assistant:
Licensure as a Physician’s Assistant in the State of Washington
AND national certification from a national certifying body (NCCPA)
