Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Associate Transportation Analyst (Level 2) to join our Global Outbound Logistics team in Seattle , Washington !The Transportation Analyst will support enterprise transportation and logistics across all business units. This role is critical to Boeing's supply chain health, enabling production and supporting various program needs. This position will also be a part of solving logistics issues for a variety of our commercial aircraft programs. You will effectively be communicating with customers internally and externally via phone and electronic channels while adhering to Boeing expectations.We are seeking a goal focused and team-oriented individual who enjoys making a difference and looking for positive outcomes. Assists with interpreting and applying logistics policies, processes and methodologies to support business initiatives.

Applies knowledge of logistics and transportation methodologies in support of organizational objectives.

Prepares documentation to support routing and logistics functional requirements. Performs domestic freight transactions.

Assists with and performs International freight transactions in accordance with Federal and Regulatory Agency guidelines.

Collects and analyzes data and information from multiple sources in support of transportation and logistics business initiatives.

Assists with a variety of support services including freight bill audit and related activities, contracts management and negotiations team functions, prepares and assists with documentation and certification of shipments of dangerous goods and support to compliance initiatives.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

1+ years of experience working in logistics or transportation

1+ years of experience communicating with senior managers and executives, customers (internal and external), business partners / suppliers / subcontractors, and government representatives

1+ years of experience with multi-tasking and working in a team environment

1+ years of experience in a role that required strong communication and interpersonal skills

1+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience interfacing mid & senior level leadership

3+ years of experience with freight forwarding and/or transportation modes: FTL, LTL, International and Domestic Air Freight, Ocean, Small Parcel

1+ years of experience with documentation and certification requirements of dangerous goods in transportation in support to compliance initiatives

Bachelor's degree

Typical Education/Experience:Typically, 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
