We hope you will apply to become part of our dedicated, fast-moving team of superstars! ZoomCare is seeking an AthenaOne Clinical Workflow and Configuration Analyst to join our team! The AthenaOne Clinical Workflow and Configuration Analyst is responsible for the design, configuration, and optimization of clinical workflows within the AthenaOne platform. This role involves collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to ensure that the AthenaOne system supports efficient and effective patient care. The analyst will be instrumental in configuring the system to meet the specific needs of healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Analyze and redesign clinical workflows to improve patient care and operational efficiency.

Collaborate with clinicians and staff to gather feedback and incorporate it into workflow designs.

Configure and optimize AthenaOne modules, templates, forms, and decision support tools to align with clinical best practices and enhance usability.

Ensure system settings and configurations comply with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, while maintaining operational performance.

Lead or assist in system implementation, upgrades, and enhancements, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors for successful project delivery.

Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

Implement system changes and upgrades with minimal disruption to clinical operations.

Provide training to clinical staff on new workflows and system configurations, ensuring adoption and effective use.

Create and maintain training materials, user guides, and system documentation.

Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for AthenaOne workflows and configurations, addressing any issues and resolving them in collaboration with Athenahealth support and internal IT teams.

Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and healthcare regulations.

Document and track system issues, resolutions, and changes, ensuring transparent and efficient system management.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

This is a remote position but you must reside in Oregon or Washington state.

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Information Technology, Nursing, Health Informatics, or a related field (equivalent work experience may be considered).

3+ years of experience with AthenaOne or other EHR systems, focusing on workflow design and system configuration.

Experience in a clinical or healthcare IT environment preferred.

Proficient in AthenaOne configuration and workflow management.

Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Athenahealth certification in workflow configuration preferred.

Additional relevant IT or healthcare certifications preferred.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 dependent on experience

WORKING CONDITIONS

Project timelines and work volume / deadlines may sometimes require more than your scheduled hours per week or work outside of regular business hours to complete essential duties of this position.

Prolonged periods of standing/sitting and working at a computer.

This position may require occasional travel to healthcare facilities for on-site assessments and training.

Must wear a mask as needed
