We are currently in need of an experienced Design Technician to complete BIM projects. Primary ResponsibilitiesUsing computer aided drafting, prepares concrete formwork layout drawings for assigned projects.Assists in the design and detailing of forming systems.Reviews and analyzes the project documents and identifies drawing and specification conflict, insufficient information, and missing dimensions while contributing ideas to enhance project productivity and cost-efficiency.Prepares quantity takeoffs and estimates as required.Assists in the evaluation and coordination of material requirements with field supervisors to ensure availability and efficient utilization of equipment on assigned projects.Ensures duplication and delivery of up-to-date drawings and instructions to the job site.Records, updates, and maintains RFI, Product Submittal, and drawing logs.Ensures efficient inventory control and storage of shop drawings and contract documents.Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.Minimum Qualifications1 year of completed coursework or an equivalent combination of training and/or work experience reading structural drawings and performing computer-aided designStrong mathematical and visualization skillsAdvanced PC skills, specifically in a Windows environment, including collecting and analyzing data in Excel and creating documents and preparing correspondence in Outlook and WordTHE PERKSUp to 160 hours of PTO in first year of employmentCompetitive Healthcare and 401k Package OfferedDiscounted Gym MembershipsTraining ProgramsChallenging AssignmentsCareer Advancement OpportunitiesApplications submitted without a resume will not be considered.Ceco Concrete Construction is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Qualified candidates will be considered without regard to race, sex, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation or gender identity.Thank you for your interest in employment with Ceco Concrete Construction.
