Kelly Services has partnered with Kerry Ingredients in Seattle, WA! Kerry is a dynamic, fast growing food manufacturer and is currently searching for reliable, team-oriented Batcher. As a Batcher at our site, you’ll be responsible for accurately blending various components.Batch Operator – Seattle, WA – 1st ShiftJob Duties:Accurately blend various components to a specified formula

Accurately record components and lot numbers added to each batch

Accurately program metered components to large and small batch processing

Maintain and organize flavor components and materials

Provide daily counts on bulk raw materials and WIP

Responsible for reporting the following production and inventory data-Partial flavor containers-Premixes and WIP-Losses due to processing errors-All required information on manufacturing order

Operate and/or learn the following equipment: Sheer mixers, Transfer pumps, processing valves and controls.

operate manual and / or electric pallet jacks

calibrate and operate pH meters and refractometers

accurately record all batching characteristics (Brix, pH, Color, and Flavor)

correctly operate manual and automatic valves, which control all bulk materials, dry materials and dispersion equipment

Requirements:Capable of lifting 60 lbs.

Strong mathematical, communication and organizational skills.

Knowledgeable in cold and hot blending process.

Knowledgeable in GMP's and HACCP programs.

Knowledge of mechanical and digital scales.

Qualifications:Food Manufacturing Facility Experience – 1 Year + High School Diploma or Equivalent

Details:$18 - $20/hour – Based on Experience

1st Shift – 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM - Monday – Friday + overtime!
