Behavior Analyst II - Inpatient Psych

Provides behavior analytic assessment, intervention, skill development curricula, and education to individuals and families/caregivers of individuals with developmental, intellectual, emotional, and behavioral problems in a behavior analytic program. Services should result in improvements in the patient, caregiver, and/or family's quality of life.Provide leadership and coaching to other team members regarding implementation of applied behavioral analytic interventions across assessment and treatment. Serve as more senior behavior analyst on interdisciplinary teams and to other behavioral team staff. In addition, work alongside families to provide caregiver, teacher and other staff training on interventions while also carefully monitoring the effectiveness and implementation of behavioral treatments across settings. Work in collaboration with leadership on quality improvement, program development and other special projects as appropriate.Critical features of this position are described under the headings below, but are subject to change at the discretion of the clinical program team and department management. This job description reflects the designation of essential job functions but does not provide an all-inclusive list of duties that may be assigned.Required Education and ExperienceMaster’s degree in social sciences, social work, psychology, counseling, special education, behavior analysis or other related social/behavior science field.Minimum 3-years experience working as a BCBA developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive assessment and treatment for neurodiverse individuals.Required CredentialsWashington State License as a Behavior Analyst (LBA) in good standing.Certification by a National Credentialing Board for Behavior Analysts (e.g., BACB).Within 12 weeks of employment, must obtain, and maintain in good standing, medical or allied health professional staff privileges that are not limited, revoked, suspended, conditioned, or probationary, except for normal probationary periods due to initial appointment.All medical and allied health professional staff members are provisional for the first year.Any and all medical or allied health professional staff privileges at Children's will terminate automatically upon the termination of the individual's employment at Children's.Termination of employment does not prohibit the individual from seeking medical or allied health professional staff privileges at Children’s as a non-employee in any category for which the individual qualifies.Questions regarding medical or allied health professional staff privileges may be directed to Medical Staff Services.Behavior Analyst I is working in outpatient positions require Washington State registration/licensure appropriate to clinical field (Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration) required within 60 days of employment.PreferredBilingual skills.Experience working with caregivers and families.Experience working with diverse populations.Experience navigating multiple hospital systems.Experience with working in a medical setting, proficiency with medical documentation requirements, insurance billing, and discharge planning.Compensation Range$45.80 - $68.70 per hourSalary InformationThis compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Job Location: Seattle Digital Evidence Lab 301 Union Street Seattle, WA 98101-9997 Responsibilities Conducts forensic examinations of digital and other multimedia evidence through the application of scientific practices for the recognition, collection, analysis, and interpretation of digital evidence for criminal and civil law or regulatory purposes. Examines and analyzes evidence and interprets scientific observations and data to render conclusions, form opinions and produce reports utilizing a full range of electronic search methods and forensic examination techniques. Provides expert witness testimony; produces comprehensive reports and illustrative exhibits for federal, state, and local judicial proceedings at a level sufficient to explain evidence interpretations and conclusions from forensic examinations and scientific data to a lay audience. Serves as a subject matter expert and technical advisor in matters relating to the proper collection, preservation, packaging, and submission of digital and multimedia evidence; participates in crime scene evidence collection activities in major field investigations; ensures evidence handling requirements are met. Performs ongoing evaluation and validation of laboratory instrumentation and methods, operating protocols, and safety practices under supervision; maintains awareness of safety procedures and identifies possible physical conditions and/or laboratory procedures that may create unsafe conditions. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor\'s degree in computer sciences, forensic science, or a closely related field from a college or university accredited by a national or regional accreditation organization recognized and sanctioned by the U.S. Department of Education. NOTE: Employees in the Forensic Computer Analyst or Forensic Computer Analyst Sr position prior to June 27, 2015 are exempt from this requirement.
