Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is seeking a Boeing Global Engagement Senior Specialist to join our team. This role will be located in Seattle, WA.In this role you will implement Boeing corporate philanthropy and employee engagement strategies.This position requires significant cross-functional collaboration and cooperation with State and Local Government Relations, Communications, Sustainability, Human Resources, Ethics, and others. Frequent travel within the Puget Sound Region is required as well as periodic travel outside the immediate area to attend functional meetings. Attendance is expected at community events and functions that often occur after business hours and on weekends.Position Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with stakeholders and partners, including nonprofit, government, business and community leaders.

Implement Boeing’s charitable giving strategies and process in the Puget Sound region focused primarily on education, workforce and/or the environment.

Recommend and commit authorized resources in the community in order to maximize investment impact in alignment with strategies and plans.

Execute grants due diligence process, budgets, programs, projects and events.

Evaluate the impact of community investments and relationships using mutually agreed upon objectives to ensure quantifiable results.

Promote the active participation of Boeing employees and their families in the community.

Lead employee engagement in the community through internal and external communications, volunteer opportunities, corporate giving programs and community service projects.

Engage leadership to champion community involvement.

Represent the company as directed across the region, including in public settings (e.g., Boeing-sponsored community events).

Participate in internal cross functional teams and represent Boeing on external inter-disciplinary teams in identifying community investing opportunities.

Establish and manage relationships with civic leaders by networking, sharing information and identifying opportunities for collaboration in order to maximize impact in the local community and promote Boeing as a good corporate citizen.

Communicate the company's community investment results and commitment to good corporate citizenship.

Provide subject matter expertise for company leaders who manage and participate in external relationships.

Influence decision makers and stakeholders by providing information related to issues, communicating impacts and providing recommendations in order to represent the interests of the company.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher

5+ years of experience in corporate public affairs

1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior management, customers, stakeholders, peers and partners

Ability to work flexible hours, overtime and occasional weekends when necessary

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience working with cross-functional teams

Experience with corporate philanthropy

Experience coordinating volunteer events and special events

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment with strong communication skills

Typical Education & Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
