job summary:

Our Seattle based client is seeking a Cloud Foundations Engineer with extensive experience in Azure. You will be a part of the infrastructure/cloud platforms team, working closely with product managers, application engineers and solution architects to implement, design and deploy solutions and tools in Azure and create a Cloud Foundation roadmap.

responsibilities:

Work with Work with product managers, application engineers and solution architects to design and engineer cloud based solutions in Azure.


Utilize Subscription management, Automation, Azure Active Directory, Logic Apps, Resource Manager, Developer tools etc in Azure.


Provide expertise and guidance for transfer into cloud, containerization and deployment of applications to cloud.


Create Cloud Foundation roadmap.

As part of a hardworking team of diverse spacecraft development engineers, you will be responsible for the derivation and development of Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) requirements, analysis, algorithms, flight software, integration, test,verification,and validation of the Orbital Reef ADCS subsystem. In this role, you will use your experience in the development of on-board Guidance, Navigation, and Control technologies to drive technical innovation and solve complex challenges. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Support early concept studies, architecture development, definition of GN&C mode states and transitions, and concept of operations. Derive and develop GN&C requirements, perform analyses and trades to validate requirements, and maintain subsystem specification, and performance metrics. Collaborate with other subsystem and spacecraft systems engineers to define GN&C boundaries and interfaces. Support the definition, development, and execution of simulations and tools required for verification of functionalities. Support verification and testing, ensuring the GN&C subsystem complies to its requirements. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of a B.S. in aerospace, mechanical, or electrical engineeringor related field. 5 years of design experience focused on development of spacecraft GN&C. Demonstrated experience in development, implementation, and testing of GN&C algorithms on aerospace vehicles. Experience developing requirements, interfaces,tradesand analyses for GN&C applications. Proven experience in modeling and simulation. Familiarity with flight management, guidance, control, navigation, and astrodynamics fundamentals. Experience inMatlab/Simulink/Stateflow. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Preferred Qualifications M.S. or PhD in aerospace engineering or related technical field. Experience in Rendezvous, Proximity, and Docking (RPO/D) CONOPS, algorithms, trajectories, rendezvous points, safety gates and corridors, and requirements for performing RPOD operations. Experience in full lifecycle development of GN&C and/or Autonomy on spacecraft including integrated tests in high-fidelity environments. Experience designing, evaluating, and simulating state machines. Experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence and JIRA. Compensation range for on site CO applicants is $125,400-$175,560 Compensation range for on site WA applicants is $136,800-$191,520
