Here’s Where You Come InJob Responsibilities:

Collaborate with a team providing day-to-day service, new business, and renewal insurance needs of a construction-centered client group

Focus on builder's risk policies

Ensure teams are adequately trained and workflows are followed

Coordinate a team of Account Managers and Associate Account Managers

Serve as primary relationship manager and consultant for clients and their insurance needs

Review and approve weekly timecards, coordinate and approve vacation and other time away from the office, and track completion of new employee training

You’re Great At

At least 5 years of insurance brokerage experience in an account management role specializing in large construction accounts

Exceptional customer service skills

Strong written and oral communication skills

Strong organization and follow-up skills

Ability to exercise independent judgment and assume accountability

Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal instruction and a high degree of accuracy

Experience in a Broker Management System and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Strong understanding of Insurance Principles

Strong leadership skills

Builders Risk experience preferred but not required

Experience with Applied EPIC Agency Management System preferred but not required

Other duties and responsibilities include:

Being the champion of the Broker Standards and Standardized Weekly Processes

Creating a climate where employees are motivated to do their best and can be successful

Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm

Leading by example in areas of excellent client service, adoption of company policies, procedures, and workflows, embracing technology systems, and professional growth by means of continually seeking educational opportunities

Championing weekly standard processes to ensure the team understands the why and manages consistent execution for efficiency gains

Bringing forward team members’ concerns to Management

Working closely with carriers and facilitating carrier relationships

Some travel required

Other projects or duties as needed
