In this role, you will develop and deliver programs that promote awareness and drive collaboration and action that accelerate Amazon Sustainability and Climate Pledge goals.This job requires a solid understanding of the roles of business and society, as well as the sustainability landscape. The candidate must show good judgment and continually improve their level of knowledge about Amazon’s business and our intersection with our commitment to The Climate Pledge.You will collaborate across teams and dive deep into all aspects to create programs that are both informative and engaging. You will also think creatively and strategically about the right mix of tactics and channels, and continually ideate new and exciting ways to communicate with stakeholders.This role is both strategic and hands on, requiring an entrepreneurial big thinker who is also willing to roll up their sleeves and get things done. The candidate is an extremely organized individual with experience managing highly visible projects with multiple global stakeholders, and has a demonstrated track record of creating and executing clearly structured and visible marketing and communications plans.The successful candidate will be very comfortable working in an ambiguous environment and lean on your exemplary program and project management skills, excellent communication skills, and ability to prioritize high-importance and high-visibility tasks.Key job responsibilities

Develop and implement creative programs and assets that support the acceleration of Amazon’s 2040 net zero carbon commitment

Collaborate across internal teams and Climate Pledge signatory companies to help address customer business challenges and accelerate progress

Lead content strategy, from ideation to delivery, to measurement and evaluation

Deliver high-impact messaging, story lines, content, and marketing programs for sustainability solutions, including executive materials, web copy, social content, presentations, and articles

Develop scalable tools, resources, and playbooks

10+ years’ marketing and/or creative experience

7+ years’ experience independently managing multi-faceted marketing or creative campaigns from concept to completion

3+ years’ experience as a people manager

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

Sustainability, climate, environmental and/or social responsibility expertise

Excellent time management, resource management, and planning skills

Superior oral and written communication skills

Passionate about process and an innate attention to detail

Experience creating content for a variety of media – emails, videos, presentations, and graphics

Experience facilitating agreement among multiple senior stakeholders with competing priorities

Ability to pull and analyze data from various data points

Ability to manage time and juggle multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables

Willingness to travel and ability to work independently and autonomously

Experience working in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional organization

The base pay for this position ranges from $151,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $249,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
