As a result, we safeguard our business partners data and retain their trust. The AIS Design Specialist is responsible for developing the strategy on how customers can/should engage with AIS. They are the keeper of the customer journey across AIS services. They will need to create and maintain a holistic view of the customer experience for the various customer portals used by customers who need to interact with AIS. They are responsible for furthering the strategy and streamlining the customer experience where possible. This person will lead the creation of design artifacts to hand off to Engineering to build, with input from stakeholders from around the business. These design artifacts contain directives like personas, user stories, requirements, user flows, prioritized build recommendations, and wireframes. These will be used to build platforms designed to aid Apple in achieving security goals. Their duties include working closely with customers and security DRIs to direct design elegant customer solutions that surface what customers need to see at the right time, in the right ways. We are looking for someone who can visualize new ways of engagement and collaborate with security SMEs on what those could be, while maintaining firm advocacy of the customer experience, keeping the ultimate goal of increased security posture in mind. You'll collaborate closely with customers, technical and business leadership to understand the design needs from all sides, coalescing them into interfaces that meet multiple goals. You'll design the way we engage with our customers not just for them. You'll accelerate the outcomes for security priorities across the organization through not only good design, but also technology systems. This role requires bold, solution-driven cross-functional communication, user advocacy, and interpersonal relationship building. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce Design Artifacts Design and implement metrics to prove design impact on Apple’s security posture, and by extension, efficacy of the tools used Stay up-to-date with security services, industry trends, and best practices, share this knowledge within the team, and drive continuous improvement and innovation Drive design across platforms Conduct usability heuristic analysis of existing UIs A/B test design with different communities Own the strategy and operation of designMinimum Qualifications
5+ years in the design leadership
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience influencing industry or enterprise-level initiatives
Experience taking problem statements and designing solutions with a cross-functional set of stakeholders
Clear, repeatable design methodology
Experience influencing design of technology tools
Data-driven prioritization and decision making to inform strategic direction
Key QualificationsPreferred Qualifications
CISSP or similar security certifications
Experience with communications or public relations at large tech companies
Experience working directly in the Security domain rate environments, with knowledge of licensing and legal review processes.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $96,200 and $181,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
