As an OCM Advisory Group Manager (Senior Manager level), you will lead our Organizational Change Management Advisory practice in the West Region, working closely with North America leaders to develop and grow our regional group. You will lead the design and implementation of organizational change initiatives, as well as manage specific change projects. Most OCM pursuits and projects align to Business Transformations (ERP/CRM), Collaboration and Security (M365 suite), Data & AI Adoption (GenAI/AI, Copilot, PowerBI, etc.), or Strategic Change (Op Model & Org Design, M&A, Change COE). An Avanade OCM Advisory Group Manager has in-depth experience in the following endeavors:

Leading organizational design to maximize effectiveness and mitigate risks.

Developing and maintaining strong client stakeholder relationships positioning the organization into "Trusted Advisor" status

Developing and orchestrating Change Strategies and Plans for large scale technology projects and programs

Creating guidelines and enforcing procedures and standards related to content development and implementation

Developing and executing effective Communication strategies

Developing and delivering strategic training plans to prepare individuals for success

Leading clients through transformational change and supporting business priorities

Contributing to the internal capability of Avanade’s OCM practice by sharing learnings, developing content, mentoring junior colleagues, and crafting compelling proposal responses

Skills and experience

7+ years of experience in a client facing Organizational Change role with digital transformation, technical & functional project experience and prior experience with ERP/CRM Transformation

Previous relevant management consulting professional services firm experience, preferably with a global management consultancy firm.

Experience working in cross-functional and complex, highly matrixed teams

Experience in leading pursuits and justifying the organizational change value proposition for an engagement with both internal and client stakeholders

Ability to be flexible, demonstrate critical thinking and work effectively in fluid, complex environments

Experience in coaching and developing junior talent

Expert in the Microsoft Office product suite 

Other desired skills include:

A relevant Advanced Degree or an MBA 

Industry experience in one of the following industries - Resources (O&G, Energy), Healthcare, Retail/CPG, Manufacturing, CMT, and Financial Services
