Making major contributions to the full software development lifecycle as a full stack software engineer, including problem analysis and planning, Software Architecture & Design, Software Development, Software testing, and Software deployment with operational excellence.
Working efficiently as part of the agile team with experience of Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, etc.), Linux, frontend, backend, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) and autonomous systems.
Collaborating with stakeholders, engineering teams, and peers closely for the software delivery on time with safety and quality.
Building and growing the software capabilities across organizations and teams.
Attending and presenting technical work in meetings with great verbal and written communications.
Mentoring junior software engineers
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required .To be considered for this position you will be required to complete a technical assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration .Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Bachelor degree from an accredited course of study in computer science, data science, mathematics, engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, or physics.
3+ years of experience designing and developing software using any of the listed programming languages - Python, C/C, or Java
3+ years of experience working with backend development and/ or cloud environments
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with new product development as part of the agile team
Proficient in C / python / Matlab-simulink
Experience with Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, etc.), Linux, frontend, backend, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) and autonomous systems.
Experience with modern microservices architecture, implementation, and operations.
Experience with relational database and AI/ML techniques
Familiarity with FMU/FMI specification and MBSE tools such as Cameo, DOORS, or equivalent to support model-based systems engineering processes for system and tool certification is a plus. (Optional)
MS or PhD in Computer Science or Engineering related field.
