Consultant- Mobile Game Build Engineer

AltaSource Group is seeking a Mobile Game Build Engineerfor our Seattle Online Gaming Client! This is an exciting opportunity to work for an industry leader, revolutionizing the gaming field through the power of technology.

Our client is looking for a Mobile Game Build Engineer to bring automation to their release pipeline. Their ultimate goal is to automate as much as possible from the moment a commit is made into a source repository to when a game is uploaded to an app store. This job will require an ability to research and evaluate existing technologies, as well as strong software engineering skills to implement a solution that will help us achieve their goals. You will be part of a small team, so the ability to work independently and efficiently, with a flexible approach to solving problems is a must.

Day to Day, you will:



Work with engineering teams to architect, standardize, and automate mobile build and release processes in cloud projects, with a focus on CI/CD

Evaluate, research and construct mobile build solutions for iOS and Android platforms

Help maintain legacy build and release pipelines with an eye toward migrating/deprecating services as necessary.

Enhance Big Fish documentation around build and release processes





About You:

Your knowledge and skill-set should include:



Senior level software engineering experience

Experience with Unity and game development

Awareness of game test/quality processes and tooling

A growth mindset and willingness to learn new skills

Excellent communications skills

Flexible in what you do and a willingness to try new things

Experience with Android and iOS

Detail-oriented, motivated, results driven, and a self-starter who can work without supervision

Experience with CI/CD systems like Jenkins, GitHub Actions etc

Experience with containerization environments

Experience with Infrastructure As Code

Experience with modern source control

Experience with cloud platforms

Experience with scripting/coding, Python/Ruby/Java preferred

Strong Architecture and Design skills

A team player who is able to accept feedback and gather requirements from multiple sources



You may also have:



Familiarity with artifact storage/management systems such as Nexus Sonatype or JFrog

Familiarity with networking concepts, especially in cloud environments.

Experience working in an Agile methodology project environment.

Experience with Fastlane

Experience designing and building test automation tools/systems using open source test automation tools

Experience with mobile app automation tools such as Appium and Headspin

Experience working on a development team that practices Agile/scrum methodologies







Pay Rate: Up to $75/hr. DOE

Note: This position is an onsite contract role with the potential to extend or convert full-time. Our client is unable to consider candidates who require H1 visa sponsorship for this role. Please no corp-to-corp or 1099.

Proven experience in modeling and simulation. Familiarity with flight management, guidance, control, navigation, and astrodynamics fundamentals. Experience inMatlab/Simulink/Stateflow. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Preferred Qualifications M.S. or PhD in aerospace engineering or related technical field. Experience in Rendezvous, Proximity, and Docking (RPO/D) CONOPS, algorithms, trajectories, rendezvous points, safety gates and corridors, and requirements for performing RPOD operations. Experience in full lifecycle development of GN&C and/or Autonomy on spacecraft including integrated tests in high-fidelity environments. Experience designing, evaluating, and simulating state machines. Experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence and JIRA. Compensation range for on site CO applicants is $125,400-$175,560 Compensation range for on site WA applicants is $136,800-$191,520
