Imaging findings are integrated with all clinical data to generate comprehensive and actionable patient assessments.We also offer a full complement of heart-related cardiac diagnostic imaging tests and procedures, including electrocardiogram (for neonatal and pediatric patients) and echocardiography services, CT and MRI imaging services and nuclear imaging services.Reports and images seamlessly integrate with your UW Medicine electronic medical record (MyChart) and are available to you and your care provider shortly after the exam has been completed. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Under general supervision, perform specialized clerical and technical duties to facilitate the delivery of patient care
Function as an expert in both patient service area and registration; perform the work of registration and scheduling or unit coordination
Follow an effective workflow for the referral process to address both internal and external referrals, as well as communicating with referring providers
Document the steps in the process
Utilize forms and letters to document the process
Follow processes for specific subspecialty referrals with physicians
Oversee referral process and ensure compliance with process
Maintain a database for tracking referrals using EPIC
Create, maintain, and adjust provider templates per provider requests REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduation or equivalent
Two years Patient Services Specialist 2 experience OR
