DescriptionThe Amazon NA Stores Negotiations Team is seeking is seeking a creative, analytical, strategic, and highly entrepreneurial Principal, Program Management to join our exciting and fast-paced team. Through our passion for negotiations, we are committed to innovation to deliver a best-in-class customer experience in the Amazon store. The Principal, Program Management will lead new, business-critical initiatives, while driving continual improvement and efficiencies across the organization. You will develop the strategy and execution for concurrent initiatives and guide multiple cross-functional product, program, and finance teams at Amazon to deliver timely and optimal results. This includes owning end-to-end program roadmap development, formulating new analysis and tracking methodologies that scale, and routinely delivering executive-level communications on progress, successes, and roadblocks.Key job responsibilities Lead transformative projects that optimize convenience for our customers, while creating improved negotiation opportunities with vendors. Reinvent how we bring new promotional opportunities to vendors by developing more streamlined and efficient processes. Own initiatives that better optimize our product assortment, remove inefficiencies, and continually delight our customers. Partner with cross-functional business teams on how we source and place inventory to improve speed of delivery of products and better serve our customers. Think big and bring forward new ideas to positively disrupt existing negotiations strategies and improve overall negotiation efficiency and efficacy.Basic Qualifications

7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

7+ years of program or project management experience

7+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience

Bachelor's degree

Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality

The base pay for this position ranges from $124,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
