We believe that advertising, when done well, can enhance the value of the customer experience and generate a positive return on investment for our advertising partners.The Custom Ops team is looking for a Program Manager, Resourcing, based in New York or Seattle to shape the evolution of our resourcing, capacity planning and staffing mechanisms for creatives and designers across CA, DE, ES, FR, IT, JP, UK, USA and other emerging countries. This critical position will also work closely with our scaled design teams in Bangalore (IN) and San Jose (CR).This pivotal player in the Custom Ops organization will be responsible for the strategic vision and roadmap for resource and capacity planning, channel optimization, and work-load balancing worldwide. The Program Manager will work cross-functionally with Business Insights and internal partner teams to generate global forecasts, drive staffing analysis and staffing mix by function and locale, providing resourcing support to the US Business Pods, and between the US and international markets. Operational excellence, creating order and helping shape the type of work that the team engages in will excite the winning candidate, as will thriving in a dynamic, ambiguous, fast-paced environment in which managing multiple projects and priorities, and change, is the norm. You will bring your expertise to bear in evolving from a manual resourcing environment to a dynamic, system-based process. You'll excel at analyzing quantitative and qualitative information, using critical thinking to solve problems, and developing technology solutions for automation and scale.The ideal candidate brings strong program management expertise directly related to resourcing or capacity planning across multi-officed teams and a deep understanding of creative environments. With strong technical aptitude, you work independently, have a strong backbone and can effectively set strategy and communicate with senior level leadership. You are not afraid to prioritize, make hard decisions and will apply your program management expertise to continually raise the bar and improve our approach and productivity to resource management.Responsibilities: Drive the strategic direction of the Advertising Design and UX team's capacity planning, network strategy, geographic diversification, and channel optimization Build and execute against the global strategic roadmap for resource and capacity planning Understand and simplify global mechanisms to translate them into automatic load balancing Ability to dive deep into different global workflow processes and identify opportunities to optimize and automate resource allocation/alignment Develop, drive and continuously improve resource mechanisms and utilization models Own the BI relationship and their application to capacity modeling Own the single threaded view on headcount planning and staffing mix across design teams worldwide Regular staffing analysis across all roles and markets Publish, analyze and drive performance and Utilization Reports Monitor team productivity and recommend areas for improvement POC for resourcing related escalations, investigating and resolving capacity issuesBasic Qualifications 5+ years in business operations management and marketing is required; online advertising industry and/or creative environment preferred Advanced understanding of traffic workflow systems and previous experience "starting
