Description Robert Half is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support a tax and assurance firm in designing and developing ETL pipelines and optimizing data warehousing solutions as part of a Snowflake deployment. This position is 100% Remote and is a 6 month contract with potential to convert. Apply today! Job Duties:

Responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining the firm's analytical data assets to support applications, workflows, reporting, integrations, and other solutions.

Design, develop, and implement technical solutions in a Snowflake environment.

Provide solution design leadership, as well as mentor junior engineers and team members

Design, construct, and manage the data lake environment including Data ingestion, staging, data quality monitoring, and business modeling

Develop, construct, test, and maintain architectures in larg

Constructing and managing the data lake environment including data ingestion, staging, data quality monitoring, and business modeling

Collaborating with the data analytics and reporting team to manage and support the Azure Machine Learning environment

Creating and maintaining architectures such as databases and large-scale processing systems

Developing ETL processes using data factory and SSIS tools

Designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions in SQL environment, including databases, SQL, data marts, and integrations

Working in all aspects of development including design, reviews, troubleshooting, and post-production issue resolutions.

Following SDLC and creating and maintaining required documentation of newly developed and refactored applications-scale processing systems.

Collaborate with data scientists, report writers, product group customers, stakeholders, and other IT resources to define business needs and build scalable data processing pipelines.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree & 3+ years of relevant IT experience (If no degree, 1 year of experience for each year of education: AA & 5+ years of relevant IT experience OR HS Diploma or GED & 7+ years of relevant IT experience)

Expert in building ETL pipelines, data ingestion, and data warehouse migration.

Knowledgeable in Microsoft SQL Server: On-prem, SSIS and other tools.

Demonstrated experience in Snowflake.

Great communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
