Job DescriptionProduct Manager Senior, Inventory IntegrationsThe Senior Product Manager is a key member of the Nordstrom Product Management team, championing the customer experience evolution through data-driven insights using a variety of qualitative and quantitative inputs and delivering key features, functionality and programs for Nordstrom. Product Management is responsible for making sure we build the right products and features for our customers and business. To accomplish that, product managers plan the product roadmap and prioritize the applicable technology backlog, lead product discovery, and measure and communicate results of the feature portfolio in production, all while ensuring stakeholder alignment.A day in the life…Solid practitioner of the following competencies, requiring some day to day management support:
Manage the development and prioritization of inventory integrations in partnership with engineering and cross-domain teams.
Lead modernization strategy by engaging with cross-organization partners to understand their workflows and converting them to tactical plans to simplify the integration ecosystem.
Lead the implementation and refinement processes necessary for organizational initiatives that that rely on inventory integrations across the organization.
Establish and manage technical collaborations with cross-functional teams, such as Supply Chain and Merchandising, to drive integration efforts. Prioritize tasks for internal and external engineering teams to ensure timely project completion.
Design and shape integration workflows with partners.
Identify and manage technical dependencies, coordinating with diverse stakeholders to successfully launch modernized integration systems.
Use data to make good decisions when confronted by ambiguity.
Define, measure, and monitor key KPI’s for product health.
Drive root cause analysis on KPI performance.
Evaluate competitor experiences.
Prioritize feature opportunities and develop annual backlog.
Partner with Research, and Engineering on feature design.
Work with engineering during feature development to ensure feature objectives are maintained.
Develop a/b testing plan with analytics where appropriate
You own this if you have…
Minimum 5+ years’ experience of product management required, technology or ecommerce company preferred with a focus on inventory integrations and cross-functional collaboration with Supply Chain, Merchandising, Operations and Analytics teams.
Bachelors’ degree is Required.
Ability to define, measure and analyze processes to identify improvement opportunities
Technical background and understanding of software development principles, including a/b testing
Ability to build relationships cross-functionally with multiple teams from areas such as Analytics, Engineering and User Experience
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
