DescriptionAmazon NAS Vendor Summit team is looking for a Sr. Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional and technology projects and programs to support the Vendor Summit event. We will use this summit to reinforce Amazon as the retailer of choice for top brands, deepen our engagement with our vendors’ most senior leaders, and showcase new innovation and launches. The Sr. Marketing and Communications Program Manager (Sr. Marketing/Communications PM) is responsible for building best in class communications, manage and execute initiatives across cross-functional teams, harmonize messaging across multiple channels, and ensure marketing initiatives are delivered to the highest standards. You will own building the team’s marketing strategy and will innovate with new tactics and channels. This role requires scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving event execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process changes.Key job responsibilities Manage new and existing programs, successfully delivering difficult projects and goals across multiple organizations Develop and present project plans that outline the creative approach, stakeholder definition, timeline, key milestones, resources, and budget Partner with other program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set project priorities and milestones and drive delivery Own program communication, accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers (e.g., path to green), escalating as appropriate Influence design and development of strategic processes Anticipate workload and resources needed for a successful project, create and maintain work-back schedules and calendars, and hold status update meetings Work cross-functionally to develop and manage project and campaign briefs and provide feedback on deliverables to ensure they meet the objective and raise the bar Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across all projects and using this data to drive/influence business decisions Lead weekly and monthly stakeholder meetings and manage LT updates on progress. Manage post-launch support plans (e.g., post-mortem, issue/ticket management, etc.) and look for opportunities to improve program quality and operational excellenceA day in the lifeThe position is responsible for working with NAS Vendor Summit team to creatively reinforce Amazon as the retailer of choice for top brands, deepen our engagement with our vendors’ most senior leaders, and showcase new innovation and launches. This includes managing the strategic position of the NAS Vendor Summit by providing direction and implementation of marketing and communication for special events. This role actively develops and implements communication plans and strategies to internal and external senior leadership teams. This position will develop communication and marketing plans, align strategies, produce, edit, and publish a wide variety of content, and requires excellent writing and editing skills.Basic Qualifications

5+ years of program or project management experience

Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Bachelor's degree

Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional programs

Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and optimizing initiatives

Experience with data mining and data analysis

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of driving process improvements experience

Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

BA/MS and work experience in dedicated project management highly desired

High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment when working in stressful situations

Demonstrated problem-solving, mathematic, and analytical skills using data to drive decisions in a business environment

Demonstrated experience and proficiency in effective communication of goals and strategies across multiple leadership levels of an organization

Proven ability to influence internal/external stakeholders without authority to adopt new processes/initiatives

Strong written and oral communication skills

High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple competing projects and priorities simultaneously

Ability to think strategically and execute methodically

Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business and the competitive landscape

The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
