About the Role:
In this role you’ll have a high level of responsibility working with stakeholders across all departments including sales, marketing, customer success, customer support, IT, legal, finance, etc. This role reports into the CRM manager with lots of autonomy, and will be a part of a 3 person SFDC admin team helping us scale our tools and processes as we grow. Some of the day to day will include:
  • Work collaboratively with functional business units and help translate business requirements into logical technical designs; defining technical solutions in Salesforce.com to support business processes and bring the design to life through declarative or programmatic solutions.
  • Responsible for owning entire projects from end-to-end for large cross functional projects, including requirement gathering, solution design, program management, and execution.
  • Partner with the CRM manager to develop and maintain a roadmap based on business needs and priorities. Ability to bring logical reasoning to thoughtfully prioritize work items.
  • Use advanced declarative and programmatic tools to design, build, test, deploy, and support Salesforce solutions.
  • Participate in backlog grooming and priority management for business teams.
  • Review Salesforce release notes and preview sandboxes to highlight risks and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain technical solution documentation.
  • Play a mentor role to other CRM members as well as stakeholders looking to get more involved.
  • Proactively help us improve our overall architecture allowing for scalability, agility, and growth; with a strong emphasis on Opportunity management, CPQ and Billing.

About You:
We are looking for someone who has a variety of SFDC experience and can come in and help get our CRM to a best in class state. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver, able to tackle known issues as well as proactively recommending new solutions. You don’t need to check all the boxes but these are some of the relevant skills and experience we think are important for this role:
  • A track record of planning and executing work for high priority cross functional projects.
  • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes.
  • Thorough understanding of the platform, with advanced ability to build custom apps, objects, formulas, Community and Case management, multi currency support, flows and general automation to address complex business needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to work with key stakeholders across the organization; manage laterally and upward.
  • Advanced experience with at least one of the following: Outreach, Marketo, Docusign, SpringCM, Zoominfo, etc., as well as a general sense of product assessment, selection, and deployment.
  • Salesforce Certifications: Administrator, Advanced Administrator, CPQ Specialist. Preferred: Platform App Builder.
  • Global experience in a broad SFDC org using Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Communities.
  • Experience managing enterprise-grade tools & platforms, taking ownership of all aspects both great and small. You lead by example and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and dive into the team’s work to fill gaps as needed.
  • Experience working in SCRUM or Agile methodologies.
