Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is looking for Senior Systems Engineers to join our team in Seattle, Washington.As a Systems Engineer on our team you will develop System and Software requirement for the airplane Onboard Network System (ONS). You will work in multi-disciplinary teams with Avionics Engineers, Software Engineers, Testers, business leaders, and airline representatives to design and build new ONS platform features to be deployed across Boeing commercial airplanes fleet.The ONS manages communication between airplane and airlines ground systems, airplane systems dataload and over the air (OTA) updates, airplane data storage, framework for the third party developed software including EFB (Electronic Flight Bags) applications as well as a whole host of additional features in support of airline customers flight crew, maintenance and cabin operations to flow smoothly.Boeing is the world's largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial airplanes and defense, space and security systems. Work with internal and external customers to understand, develop and document system and software requirements that define and integrate airborne software across our commercial airplanes fleet.

Analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, software designs and interface specifications.

Support development of test and validation procedures and test tools to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.

Support integration or customer in-service issue investigation and problem solving concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.

Validate system/software requirements and designs through both laboratory and airplane testing.

Develop and coordinate requirements and interface definitions with other aircraft systems engineering teams from initial concept through certification, delivery, and production life to ensure that all airplane systems are well integrated.

Hands on expert leading the implementation of new key software features.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at our Seattle location.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other technical degree

5+ years of experience writing requirements

5+ years of experience in systems engineering (i.e. system or software requirements, development, and/or test)

1+ years of experience performing complex systems engineering or system integration work

1+ years of experience with complex multi-system level integration and test

Experience writing technical software requirements

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

1+ years of experience working with multiple airplane systems

Experience with Requirement Management Tools

2+ years of experience working with multiple system interfaces

Experience with testing and validation procedures and tools to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements

Ability to work multiple projects simultaneously

Experience with airplane communication protocols and ethernet based protocols.

Must possess good organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). Kennedy Jenks is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Pipeline Engineer to support water and wastewater pipeline projects in a hybrid work environment across our Oregon and Washington offices. This role will be essential in the evaluation, design, and construction of complex conveyance facilities for water, wastewater, and utility infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead pipeline design and analysis, performing advanced hydraulic and pipe design calculations for small to large-diameter water and wastewater pipelines. Develop detailed designs, specifications, and drawings for complex pipeline projects, including alignment studies, hydraulic analyses, condition assessments, pipeline rehabilitation, new pipeline design, and in-service commissioning, while ensuring compliance with regional regulatory standards. Apply industry standards and publications to design and installation of pipelines. Provide construction-phase engineering support, including reviewing material submittals for conformance with contract documents, responding to requests for information, and assisting owners in confirming compliance with contract documents. Manage existing pipeline assets, including condition assessments and providing recommendations for rehabilitation or replacement using various pipe materials and trenchless construction methods. Serve as a technical expert, leading or supporting multidisciplinary project teams and mentoring junior staff on project tasks and best practices. Contribute to client service and business development efforts by supporting client positioning, attending and presenting at technical conferences, delivering written reports, and attending client and stakeholder meetings. Write technical reports, maintain accurate project documentation, and support quality control processes. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master\'s preferred). Professional Engineer (PE) license; licensure in California, Oregon, and/or Washington is preferred, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. 10+ years of experience in pipeline engineering, including design, analysis, and construction support. Experience with pipeline design software and hydraulic modeling tools is preferred. Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations for water and wastewater infrastructure. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
