Job Description Summary

This is a tremendous opportunity for a senior leader who will serve as a critical member of the senior leadership team of the Solutions Division. Reporting to and in collaboration with the President of Solutions, the Senior Vice President will lead, develop, and implement the strategic vision and leadership of Enterprise's Solutions division; oversee a significant portfolio of programs, and related services; strengthen the effectiveness of program execution; drive program design integrated across the Solutions division to increase impact; promote and diversify program funding, including a healthy mix of philanthropic, banks, government, and corporate support; elevate the organization's profile through clear external communications of programmatic work and industry leadership; provide mentoring, guidance, leadership, and professional development to all Vice President staff.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership and Vision of programs across the Solutions division that aligns with Enterprise's mission, priorities and values.

Program Management and Execution:

Planning, implementation, scaling and evaluation of complex and diversified programs.

Oversees vice presidents and directors to set short-, medium-, and long term plans and objectives for large scale programs - building strategies in collaboration with leaders to build 3 year strategies for programmatic and staffing growth.

Develop an assessment protocol to determine the feasibility and sustainability of programs, and increase effectiveness and efficiency of program delivery.

Analyze and assess programs based on data collected and implement corrective measures, if required

Team Leadership and Development to lead, mentor and build leadership capacity of the leadership team. Foster an environment of continuous improvement and professional growth of program staff. Determine staffing plans to achieve the Solutions Division goals and objectives and participate in hiring decisions for new senior program staff. Promote ongoing opportunities for staff and partners to give feedback.

DEI and Racial Equity: Support organization-wide efforts to advance the organization's commitment to diversity, racial equity, and inclusion. Lead programmatic activities to reflect this commitment by working in collaboration with leaders across the Solutions division. This position requires extensive experience working with diverse populations and cultures.

Compliance: Works in collaboration with Legal, Finance and Operations Management to ensure that the organization's programs follow all federal, state, funding, and city regulations, certifications, and licensing requirements.

SUMMARY:The Vice President, Ship Assist and Escort (SAE) is responsible for providing all aspects of strategic leadership, administrative, and technical oversight to the assigned business unit. As a key member of the Shipping leadership team, the VP, Ship Assist and Escort will drive operations and revenue strategies aligned with Shipping and the overall company goals and objectives. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide vision, direction and guidance to support the strategic goals and objectives aligned with the P&L. Develop and define the business strategy, including market analysist for new business market share and growth opportunities. Provide direction for operations and revenue generation, including fleet planning, asset distribution, acquisition and disposal. Establish and drive business relations within the industry, assessing competitors and collaborators, regulators, port authorities and customers. Ensure all safety and compliance measures are actioned and adhered to. Provide leadership and mentorship, across all levels of the team. Manage multiple locations, with varying operational responsibilities, pricing (revenue) authority, and/or purchasing authority. EDUCATION:Bachelor\'s degree in business, finance, engineering or a related field; or a combination of post high school and equal experience may be substituted for education. Masters in Maritime, Logistics or MBA preferred. EXPERIENCE:15 years’ general business experience in roles with increasing responsibilities within the maritime industry, specific to port or vessel operations and chartering.
