RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Seattle, WA that is seeking a Contract Senior Technical Workday Project Manager to backfill a critical role in the Integration team of a Workday Finance enterprise program who has a go lives scheduled in a few months. They are currently in the data integration and cutover phase. This is a very complex program, some functional requirements are still being worked on as well as end to end testing and cutover all at the same time. Our client needs a Senior Workday Finance Project Manager that is a problem solver, can step into a difficult environment and make an immediate impact. This is 100% remote, working PST hours through July 2023.
Responsibilities:
Work with other PMO resources to define and track Critical Path and inter-project dependency planning and tracking
Drive and facilitate communication with program and project teams, management, customers, and stakeholders
Manage backlog and plan refinement sessions to ensure health of backlog via technical tools including Jira
Use prior experience supporting or implementing Workday Finance, HCM or other major ERP systems to inform sequencing of work from functional to technical
Support and coordinate implementation aspects of vendors software solution as needed to enable core financial implementation in Workday
Provides support in formulation of end-to-end test scenarios representing respective workstreams including coordination with partner organizations and vendors
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering
10+ years of experience information technology
8+ years of experience in Workday Finance as Lead/Principal Consultant
Full system development life cycles hands-on experience: Analysis, designing, coding, testing, performance tuning and documentation
Experience in Workday integration with multiple legacy system landscapes and third-party systems
Understand foundational elements of core financials, HCM, and/or supply chain
Experience of multiple full lifecycle ERP project implementations and rollout in a lead role
Understands APIs/Integrations workstreams and related technologies leveraged to support in ERP implementations
Understand how to support Cutover activities and conduct necessary follow-ups for cutover
Expert experience using Jira
Experience with cutover for an application or API
Strong and proven management skills for Testing, Quality & integration teams
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
