We operate in over 50locations worldwide and provide advanced functionality such as latency-based routing (LBR), Private DNS, Geo DNS routing, DNS failover, andintegration with a plethora of AWS services. On top of that, we offer fastchange propagation with a 100% availability SLA. Our service is quicklygrowing and we're expanding in multiple directions: adding new features andfunctionality to our DNS services, better traffic management, new AWSintegrations, improving our health check capabilities, and expanding withnew services in the naming and routing space.Amazon Route 53 team works on deep, technical problems that span avariety of core topics in computer science ranging from databases tonetworking to distributed systems to numerical analysis to security. 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
