DescriptionInformation Technology Services Product (ITSPnD) team’s mission is to make it easier for Amazonians to improve their productivity inside Amazon. To deliver on this mission, ITSPnD tech team has built a Notification Management Center (NMC) which uses Large Language Models (LLM) and Generative AI (Artificial Intelligence) to prempt a customers problem and resolve them without the customer knowing about it. NMC enables authoring high quality notification content and ensures safe delivery of notification of messages to 1.6 million Amazonians regardless of their location or form factor of devices they use.We are looking for a highly motivated, top notch Software Development Manager to lead the team. You will have the opportunity to build, scale and shape the direction of this business. This role requires deep technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and strong business judgment. You will be responsible for services that can be deployed globally, delivering an exceptional customer experience, provide thought leadership in a fast-paced development environment, and partner with product management and senior leaders to ensure the success of this program.In this role you will create a strategic and tactical roadmap for the team. You will build mechanisms and balance long term commitments with small fixes to deliver customer value. You will be accountable for your team’s operational excellence and security posture. You will manage your team’s day-to-day development activities using an agile development process. 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base pay for this position ranges from $115,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
