If you want to join a fast-paced, innovative team that is making history, this is the place for you.Amazon seeks a Sr. Financial Analyst to play a key role on our AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services Operations team as we invent new metrics and operate mechanisms that will help leadership and field teams manage the large and growing AWS Sales business. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a groundbreaking team. Job responsibilities include:

Build out robust reporting mechanisms for Sr. AWS Leadership and Sales teams to monitor the business

Lead the development of new metrics that bring new clarity and insights

Drive consistency in reporting and methodology with stakeholders across a growing organization

Develop robust and scalable reporting solutionsPerform ad-hoc analysis as needed and present findings to senior managementHave you had experience in past roles supporting decision making in rapidly evolving environments? Are you a self-starter with strong data gathering and modeling skills, a keen attention to detail, and prior experience working in a fast-paced environment? Are you looking for an exciting role that has regular interaction with various teams across AWS? Do you have strong interpersonal and communication skills and a desire to collaborate with others? If so, this team could be the right fit for you!We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Seattle, WA, USABasic Qualifications

3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience

Preferred Qualifications

4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience

MBA, or CPA

Knowledge of Tableau

Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Six Sigma Black Belt

Experience as a lean sensei

The base pay for this position ranges from $56,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market.
