We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.This position contributes to Starbucks success by delivering and supporting technology solutions in support of Starbucks Technology Operations As a systems analyst senior, you will identify, design, and deploy technology and process solutions establishing key business capabilities enabling the realization of strategic initiatives and operational improvements. This role requires proficiency in requirements analysis, solution design, and process improvement coupled with the ability to collaborate effectively across various IT and business functions. In addition to delivering new technology and enhancing/supporting existing systems, an effective systems analyst sr. contributes relevant technical, functional, and process expertise, negotiates and drives alignment, and coaches/mentors less-experienced analysts. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.Summary of Key Responsibilities

Manage cross-team and cross-organization delivery of long-term customer-facing programs.

Work with the product management and engineering team to identify technical requirements, limitations, and bottlenecks.

Create the strategy for, and manage, customer facing feedback programs.

Meet with internal and external customers to understand future requirements.

Build, integrate, and maintain reporting for areas of responsibility within existing reporting schemes and mechanisms. Where required, implement new reporting.

Collaborate with project stakeholders in multiple business and technical teams to define and deliver on agreed upon milestones. Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate, and make tradeoffs Plan and coordinate events including facilitation and action item management.

Implement or enable virtuous continuous improvement cycles in macro team processes.

Develop, Own, and report on program goals, performance, efficacy, and efficiency to a variety of stakeholders across different technical domains and at varying cadences (weekly / monthly / quarterly) for area of responsibility.

Solution Design

Supports project initiation efforts by assisting in the definition of project scope and the identification/selection of targeted solution(s). Assists project management in the development of work plans, effort estimates, and delivery timelines.

Gathers, analyzes, and documents solution requirements. Facilitates user story creation and backlog grooming in an agile delivery environment.

Utilizes LEAN techniques to develop business process designs and improve operations via process re-engineering efforts.

Creates solution designs utilizing user-centric design techniques.

Coordinates with business, development, and testing teams and leverages relevant process and technology proficiency to propose optimal solution(s) options delivering required business capabilities.

Proactively identifies and effectively assesses improvement opportunities (productivity/efficiency gains, cost savings, etc.)

Utilizes agile delivery methodologies and participates on scrum teams in execution of solution delivery projects.

Considers overall user technology experience in thoughtfully designing engaging solutions.

Applies Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) design concepts.

Production Support

Provides 247 global support of critical systems.

Demonstrates system proficiency and leverages subject matter expertise to perform root cause analysis and assess issue trends.

Coordinates issue resolution with vendors and/or cross-functional teams. Provides timely and thorough communication regarding issue status/resolution with end-users and other key stakeholders.

Creates and maintains systems documentation.

Develops and facilitates system training.

Leadership

Partners with business and proposes solutions/improvements.

Works effectively in a self-directed manner with minimal direction from lead and/or manager.

Leads smaller streams of work. Interfaces across all organization levels comfortably.

Generates new ideas and influences decisions within and outside team.

Mentors team members and peers in developing required technical skills, functional knowledge, and business acumen.

Demonstrates knowledge of industry trends and innovative thought leadership.

We’d love to hear from people with:Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, software engineering, technology management, business management, or similar.

3+ years of technical product or program management experience in a large organization.

3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.

3+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.

Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.

Experience with full life cycle of product development at an enterprise level.

Experience defining KPI's/SLAs used to drive performance improvements for the business and reporting to senior leadership.
