Does that sound like you?The Opportunity with McKinstryWe are adding a Workplace Experience Coordinator to our Seattle office. In this role, you will enhance the overall workplace experience by providing exceptional front desk support and coordinating various office services. Additionally, you will ensure a welcoming environment for all visitors and employees, while also managing key administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the facility. Other responsibilities you will have include:Workplace Experience

Serve as the first point of contact for all those entering the facility, greeting them with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.

Issue visitor and parking passes and follow security protocols.

Arrange and confirm recreational, dining, and business activities on behalf of the requestor.

Manage janitorial or maintenance work orders as needed.

Coordinate and execute workplace services, including mail, office supply services, and onboarding.

Acknowledge inquiries or complaints from employees, guests, and co-workers, providing solutions in a professional customer service-driven manner.

Organize and manage on-site events, including securing event space, setting up and tearing down the room, and delivering supplies.

Follow property-specific security and emergency procedures, notifying appropriate parties to ensure the safety of all individuals in the building.

Coordinate with vendors who supply services or goods to the workplace.

Perform other front desk activities as requested.

Manage office supply and breakroom inventory and upkeep.

Assist in coordinating facilities requests.

Cr oss-functional Relationships & Customer Satisfaction

Provide excellent customer service and develop strong internal customer partnerships with key internal clients.

Act as a liaison for the Facilities team, assisting with projects and administrative tasks.

Communication

Communicate with McKinstry departments as needed to achieve shared business objectives.

Responsible for communication and sharing of information and best practices across team members.

Participate in purposeful outreaching and connecting to departments and regions.

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in a related field preferred.

Up to 2 years of job-related experience, preferably in office, customer service, or equivalent positions.

Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Strong communication skills to exchange straightforward information

Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work

Experience working with virtual and matrixed teams is preferred

Knowledge of SharePoint and Visio is preferred

Special certifications such as ASTD (American Society for Training and Development) are preferred

This is a non-exempt role and will be paid hourly. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. An Airside Experience Specialist must be able to work flexible schedules, including night, holiday, and weekend shifts. Certain functions may be performed in varying weather and environmental conditions such as precipitation, extreme temperatures, jet engine fumes, dust, and noise. The tasks are performed inside and outside near stationary and moving aircraft (including spinning propellers and engines).
