Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled baker to join our team to take care of the weekend bake-off. This position requires a 4am start time. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and food production and preparation as well as be able to work independently without supervision. Pay is $18.75 per hour + tips (average tips $8-$14 per hour)
Job Duties
· Work independently as the baker responsible for the morning bake-off on the weekends and work with the bakery manager during the week to prepare baked goods.
· Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries and other baked goods according to established recipes.
· Measure and mix ingredients accurately to ensure consistency in flavor and texture.
· Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens and mixer safely and efficiently
· Package finished products for display or sale while adhering to food safety standards.
· Collaborate with the management team to develop new recipes and improve existing ones.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
· Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
Preferred Skills

· Proficiency in food preparation techniques with a focus on baking.
· Knowledge of food safety regulations within the food industry.
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
· Excellent attention to detail to ensure quality in all baked products.
· Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
· Previous experience in a restaurant or catering setting is preferred but not required.
Compensation Details
· This position starts at $18.75 per hour plus credit and cash tips. Credit tips are split throughout the house equally and average $8-$14 per hour
· Healthcare stipend of $200 provided monthly for employees who work an average of at least 35 hrs/week for the previous month (stipend available after 60 day probationary period)
