Hours: Between 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The Flying Apron is looking for capable, self-driven individual looking for a great opportunity to work in a commercial baking environment. Prior experience in a kitchen or commercial food environment is preferred, but not necessary for this role. We're looking for folks with great work-ethic, strength in mind and body to support our baking and wholesale distribution function. You will need to be a licensed, safe driver, able to transport bins of product using a Transit Connect (no CDL required) interested in shifts that typically span 5-7 hours daily, Sun-Thu - with a prep/driving shift on Fridays between 2-6 p.m. This is a great opportunity to work in a large-scale bakery, assist with the baking function and support a much needed aspect of our business - aiding us in our quest to help folks eat freely! This position is perfect for someone going to school, those who love being relied upon for operational support or if you'd like to learn more about baking and the food production process.

You've demonstrated leadership with prior jobs, you're committed to quality and want an opportunity to learn, grow and move up in a community supported environment. People have told you that you have good instincts, you can problem solve on-the-fly and you take pride in your work; you don't need a boss peering over your shoulder to motivate you to move. We provide the vehicle: a branded Ford Transit Connect; so a license with a clean driving record and prior experience driving and operating a motor vehicle is required, prior delivery experience in some capacity would be preferred. No special operating licenses (CDL for example) are required.
WHAT'S REQUIRED
High school diploma, college degree preferred
1-year work experience prior delivery and/or restaurant production, warehouse/sales preferred
Driver's license current Washington motor vehicle license, active and in good standing
A clean driving record - no at-fault accidents, moving violations within the last 12 months
18 years of age - you'll have unsupervised access to customer locations
1-year driving experience recent, unsupervised, regular motor vehicle operation
Clean background if selected for this position, your offer of employment will be contingent upon your completing a full background investigation
WHAT THE JOB IS
PURPOSE: quality control, assembling customer orders, packaging wholesale products, consolidating and loading items and orders to be distributed throughout the greater Seattle area
SHIFTS & SCHEDULING: we operate wholesale Sun-Thu and transfer product daily.
