Belle Epicurean Bakery is looking for a responsible delivery driver to add to our team. This is a full time Monday - Friday position with a reasonable start time. We are looking for a person who will deliver products promptly to our customers throughout the greater Seattle area with respect that you will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner. We provide on-the-job training a supportive atmosphere. We are a fast paced environment but take the time to understand the employees needs to support their understanding and growth!
Responsibilities Include:
Deliver a wide variety of bakery items to locations throughout the greater Seattle area.
Follow routes and time schedule
Pick, load, unload, operate and maintain a delivery vehicle
Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
Collect payments
Complete logs and reports
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Down time tasks will include assisting the kitchen team with mild prep tasks
Qualifications
- Delivery driver experience
- Driving skills, including experience with manual transmission
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks
- Customer service skills for interacting with clients
- Valid driver's license for operating vehicles
- Time management skills for efficient route planning
- Commercial driving experience, preferably with box trucks
- Ability to load and unload goods using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Experience in route driving and courier services
