Job Summary:
We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Bar Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar and restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, a keen eye for detail, and excellent leadership skills. The Bar Restaurant Manager will be responsible for managing staff, controlling inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and service.
Responsibilities:
1. Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise bar and restaurant staff, including bartenders, servers, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen staff.
- Develop and implement staff training programs to ensure excellent customer service and product knowledge.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any staff issues or concerns.
2. Operations Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the bar and restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Manage inventory, including ordering supplies, controlling stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and maintenance throughout the establishment.
3. Customer Service:
- Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered to all patrons, responding promptly to complaints and concerns.
- Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere, encouraging customer feedback and suggestions.
4. Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and drive growth.
- Analyze sales data and adjust pricing, promotions, and inventory accordingly.
- Identify opportunities to increase average spend per customer and implement tactics to achieve this.
5. Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional campaigns, events, and activities.
- Manage social media presence, responding to customer inquiries and posting engaging content.
6. Financial Management:
- Manage budgets, controlling labor costs, inventory, and expenses.
- Analyze financial data, identifying areas for cost savings and revenue growth.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and company policies.
7. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Identify and mitigate risks, implementing procedures to minimize liability.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a management role within the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of success in managing staff, controlling inventory, and driving sales growth
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of financial management, marketing, and customer service principles
- Certification food works card and mast permit
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
