Title: Office Coordinator
Supervisor: Director of Operations
On-site work Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 9:00am - 5pm
Position Overview:
The Office Coordinator at Canlis plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the restaurant. This position includes responsibilities such as managing guest reservations, organizing and ordering supplies, overseeing Canlis’s non-profit donation project, The Matching Campaign, managing shipment and delivery including gift card orders, and providing support across various aspects of the restaurant’s functions.
Responsibilities include:
Guest relations
- Communicate daily with guests regarding dining room reservations via phone and email
- Assist the maitre’d with reservation management and guest-related tasks
- Resolve billing errors as needed
Administrative Duties
- Manage daily menu printing, updates, and changes
- Process and track gift card orders
-Perform updates to the restaurant website
Operations Management
- Oversee supply ordering, tracking, and organization
- Handle receiving and shipping tasks
- Manage the matching campaign, ensuring its effective execution
- Maintain/update Canlis licenses/warranties
- Informed and accurate communication with the accounting department
Team Support
- Assist with special projects
- Provide support to all departments as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage tasks efficiently
- Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
- A proactive and detail-driven approach to responsibilities
Compensation:
Pay range $26 to $32 per hour
Canlis provides universal paid time off (PTO) to all employees, for use as paid vacation leave, sick leave, or safe leave. The Canlis PTO Policy is below (accrual based on 40 hours worked):
Years worked at Canlis: 0-3 / Accrual Rate: 1.08 / PTO Days: 7
Years worked at Canlis: 4-5 / Accrual Rate: 1.54 / PTO Days: 10
Years worked at Canlis: 6-10 / Accrual Rate: 1.85 / PTO Days: 12
Years worked at Canlis: 11+ / Accrual Rate: 2.31 / PTO Days: 15
Employees have the option of enrolling in Canlis insurance policy after working for 60 days, at least 30 hours a week. Canlis offers medical, vision, dental, and life insurance. The cost of insurance is covered 75% by Canlis for the employee, 75% covered for any dependents, and 0% covered for spouses.
Canlis offers all staff members a 401k program that matches 75% up to 8% of your pay.
