Boasting a gorgeous Danley Soundsystem, Massive is a three floor club located in the iconic and historic monolith that was once rPlace, sitting in the center of Capitol Hill in Seattle, located at 619 E Pine Street.
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and personable daytime bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, engage with our diverse clientele, and contribute to a positive and energetic environment. As a daytime bartender, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional drinks, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and building strong relationships with our regular guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve drinks to patrons in a professional and timely manner.
Engage with customers, offering friendly and attentive service while creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Manage bar operations during your shift, including inventory control, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including regular cleaning tasks and stocking supplies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with regular customers and contribute to the growth of our clientele.
Follow all bartending school guidelines and best practices to ensure high-quality service.
Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner and escalate issues to management as necessary.
Qualifications:
Completion of a recognized bartending school or equivalent training.
Previous bartending experience in a high-energy or busy environment preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and engaging demeanor.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Reliable, responsible, and dedicated to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Knowledge of LGBTQ+ culture and a commitment to fostering an inclusive space.
Schedule:
Part-time position with daytime shifts. Availability on weekends and holidays is a plus.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly wage plus tips.
