We are looking for a good person to come work with us at our cafe in North Bend. We are a family owned cafe and coffee shop specializes in high quality coffee and homemade food. We want someone who wants to foster feelings of community and belonging. We also serve local craft beers, amazing wines, and homemade kegged cocktails.
Duties for Barista will include but are not limited to:
Taking Orders
Making Drinks
Preparing Simple Food Orders
Clearing Tables and Bus Tubs
Daily Cleaning Tasks
Our ideal candidate is outgoing and very comfortable carrying on a conversation while making drinks. Some nights and weekend days are not required, but not every night and weekend, we understand that everyone has lives and we want you to live yours too. Since we serve cocktails, candidate must be 21+
Duties for cook will include, but are not limited to:
Opening kitchen
Putting away orders
Writing and executing a prep list
Completing tickets in a timely manner
Cooking food to recipe specifications
Daily cleaning tasks
Food running
Our ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fairly solo environment and a self starter. You will be working alongside the chef to execute daily operations, given opportunities to contribute to daily specials, and assisting running food. Our kitchen staff are on a tip pool and will need to be comfortable interacting with guests on a fairly regular basis.
