Sushi Kappo Tamura and James Beard nominated Chef Taichi Kitamura is currently seeking a strong, reliable and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team.
This position is for a FULL TIME position (6 shifts / 40 hours)

Qualification:
Applicants for the this position should have at least 3 years of experience working as a Sushi Chef (nigiri, sashimi & rolls) in a high volume restaurant. Applicants who are skilled in any additional kitchen experience will be given extra consideration.
Flexible schedule and available to work evenings and on Saturdays. Availability on some mornings will be required. We prefer to cross train on all stations so there will be opportunities to learn other stations in the future if that is something that interests you.
Active WA State Food handler s permit
Demonstrates dependable and timely attendance.
Be motivated and have a positive team centered attitude
Demonstrates teamwork and willingness to step out of normal responsibilities to assist coworkers.
Strong communication with staff and customers
Time management skills
Keep clean and orderly station.
Able to be on your feet for long periods of time
Able to lift at least 50 pounds

Compensation & Benefits:
Wage: $28 -$30 / Hour or Salary + Tips. Wage is negotiable DOE
