We're seeking an experienced, full-time line cook to join our team at Two Doors Down Beer and Burgers, an independently-owned burger bar located on the backside of Capitol Hill. Our company has built its reputation serving locally-sourced burgers in a fast-casual environment with consistency and professionalism. You must have a minimum of one year of experience working on the line, with strong flat-top skills and a demonstrated ability to close a restaurant at the end of a busy shift. Obviously experience with burgers is preferred. We need someone who can not only work with a team, but who can also run the line alone through close (we do a brisk to-go business). Experience working with delivery platforms such as Uber Eats and Door Dash is beneficial.
We need someone who can work Friday through Tuesday from 5 pm to 11:30 pm.
In addition to cooking, duties also include light prep, kitchen organization and cleanliness, light dishwashing and all closing responsibilities.
We have about 35 hours/week available for the right candidate. Our line is located FOH so cleanliness and presentation are a must.
