Local family-owned company is seeking a candidate to join our kitchen production team. Some experience working in a kitchen production environment is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person. If you have an interest in food preparation, high quality work and a desire to learn with advancement opportunity, this may be a great fit for you.
Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize all food prep areas throughout the day and at closing.
Set up and prepare for the next day’s production.
Assist with cleaning, maintaining, & troubleshooting kitchen equipment - reports malfunctions immediately
to production manager or person in charge.
Ability to follow recipes using standardized procedures and portioning.
Assist in preparation of food products in support of our 5 local restaurants.
Work with kitchen team to meet company standards, food safety and daily production schedule.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Prior experience in food production or commercial kitchen setting is helpful.
Ability to lift 50lbs.
Ability to be on your feet throughout your shift.
Work requires the following motions: Walking, bending, reaching, and squatting.
Ability to keep up with fast & repetitive tasks.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Must have a current valid WA Food Workers Card or obtain within 2 weeks of employment.
