The Eastlake Specialty Market is looking to hire an experienced deli associate. The new hire would work on the weekends. As a hidden gem in the Eastlake area, we are dedicated to serving the local community with a variety of sandwich options, beer and wine selections, and grocery essentials.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and hot food items.
- Manage inventory levels and restock deli products using slicers as needed.
- Utilize POS system at the register to process orders and payments efficiently.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking store items as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a deli or kitchen setting.
- Strong inventory management skills to maintain stock levels effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment including slicers and cooking appliances.
