About Us
Open Form is a new event and retail space coming to Capitol Hill and we are looking to build a team of hospitality focussed people! As a Barista and Bartender, you will be the face of our business, creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Your expertise in coffee and food handling will help us build a new destination for coffee, tea, and treats and introduce Seattle to our event space concept.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items with precision and care.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently to process customer transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations based on their preferences and dietary needs.
- Manage inventory levels by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages to management.
- Collaborate with team members on special events and workshops as needed
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage presentation is required
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Accountability under low-supervision
- A commitment to upholding standards
- A positive attitude and passion for creating a welcoming environment for everyone
