Role Description
We have an opening for a full time Bread Baker at The Bread Peddler. Successful candidates will be responsible for the production of a variety sourdough breads with some prep for other departments as needed. This is an early baking shift starting around 3am, so you absolutely must be a morning person! Shifts are generally 7-10 hours. Must be regularly available at least one weekend day per week. This work can be physically taxing, but very rewarding. Salary is $17/hr plus tips, $17.50 after initial training period.
Qualifications
Prior experience in a bakery or other commercial kitchen is a BIG plus.
Ability to follow recipes accurately, produce consistent quality bakes with sufficient training, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen is a must as are excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
Must be well organized and possess attention to detail. Must be able to lift at least 50lb
Must be able to work early shifts, weekends and holidays as necessary.
